Activities with municipal authorization
Description
Vehicles that have a specific municipal authorisation to provide services for singular activities or special events on thoroughfares and that do not have an environmental label must request the registration to the Register to be able to travel within the low emissions zones (ZBE) of the metropolis of Barcelona.
Requirements
Any natural person or legal entity provided with a municipal authorisation that includes the information of the authorised vehicle and the starting and finishing dates of the service or event can apply for this permit.
Services include filming, moves, construction works or other special events. In the case of construction works, only vehicles within the following categories of use will be authorised: container sets, generating sets, exhibition and offices, dumpers, platforms, container transports, tankers or silos.
Any applicant can request an authorisation for more than one vehicle.
Procedure
When provided with the corresponding municipal authorisation, the applicant must request the registration of the vehicle to the Register.
After checking that all requirements are fulfilled, the vehicle will be registered into the ZBE Register and it will be notified to the applicant. Then the vehicle will be able to travel within the ZBE of the metropolis of Barcelona.

In order to be able to process the permit it is necessary to attach the municipal authorisation to provide services for singular activities or special events on the thoroughfares (construction works, thoroughfare occupation, move permits, special events celebrations), which must specify the duration of its validity.
In the case of filming activities, attach the filming permit, or in case of not having it, another document proving that the permit has been requested.
Schedule
Vehicles must be registered at least 72 h before the starting date of the municipal authorisation.
Vehicles will be able to travel on the days specified in the municipal authorisation. The maximum period allowed will be 7 natural days since the starting date of the authorisation. If the event takes longer, a new request must be submitted through the applicant’s user area.

No fees are charged for this procedure.
